Freeport proposes water cleanup at Sierrita mine

TUCSON, Ariz. – Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc. is proposing an $81 million groundwater cleanup plan for its Sierrita copper mine on the northwestern edge of Green Valley.
